Padel and pickleball at The Triangle, Mid Sussex District Council's flagship leisure centre in Burgess Hill, run by Places Leisure. In July 2019 it became the first local-authority leisure centre in the UK to install padel — a single undercover floodlit panoramic court with 3m glass all round, pay-and-play bookable 7am–10pm seven days a week, with free coaching drop-ins on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Pickleball runs in the sports hall alongside badminton. Pools, gym, squash and a café share the building.
