1. Who We Are

RacketRise ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based website at racketrise.co.uk that helps people find padel and pickleball courts, read guides, and discover equipment.

These terms govern your use of the website. By using RacketRise you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.

2. The Service

RacketRise is an editorial directory and guide. We provide:

• A searchable index of UK padel and pickleball venues.
• Buyer's guides, technique articles, and reference material.
• Tools such as our tournament generator, skill-level quizzes, and equipment comparison.
• A community game-board on venue pages where players can post open games.

The service is free to use and does not require an account. We do not take bookings, process payments, or operate any venue ourselves.

3. Information Accuracy

We work hard to keep venue details, opening hours, pricing, court counts, and editorial reviews accurate, but we provide them on an "as is" basis. Some of our data comes from public sources, venue submissions, and automated enrichment, and conditions on the ground can change between updates.

Before travelling to a venue or relying on any specific detail (price, opening hours, availability, equipment specifications, rules of play), please confirm directly with the venue or the equipment manufacturer. If you spot something out of date, please let us know and we'll review it.

Our articles include general information about racket sports — they are not a substitute for professional coaching, medical, legal, or financial advice. Health and injury-related content carries a separate notice; see those articles directly.

4. Third-Party Bookings and External Links

Where a venue page links out to a booking platform (such as Playtomic, Game4Padel, or a venue's own website), the booking is a contract between you and that third party. We are not a party to it. We are not responsible for the third party's availability, pricing, refund policy, terms of service, or the experience you have on their site.

External links elsewhere on the site (in articles, the equipment database, or glossaries) are provided for convenience. We do not endorse linked sites and we are not responsible for their content.

5. Affiliate Links

Some articles contain affiliate links — when you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps fund the site. Affiliate links do not affect what we recommend or how we rank products; see our methodology for how we test and choose.

Our retailer partners include Amazon UK (we are a participant in the Amazon Associates programme) and selected specialist retailers. Accommodation links use Stay22. The retailer's own terms and prices apply once you click through.

6. User Submissions

Several parts of the site accept input from visitors — court submissions, venue reviews, game-board posts, contact form messages, and newsletter sign-ups. By submitting content you confirm that:

• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You have the right to share it with us.
• You are not impersonating anyone or breaching anyone's rights.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, edit, and republish your submission as part of the directory.

We moderate submissions and may decline, edit, or remove any contribution at our discretion — for example, to fix factual errors, remove abusive language, or prevent spam. We aim to publish good-faith venue submissions and reviews quickly, but we don't guarantee a turnaround time.

Game-board posts expire automatically the day after the scheduled play date.

7. Intellectual Property

Editorial content on RacketRise — articles, reviews, photography we own, illustrations, and the directory's curated structure — is our copyright or licensed to us. You are welcome to:

• Read, share, and link to our pages.
• Quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the source page.

You may not:

• Republish substantial portions of our content without written permission.
• Scrape, mirror, or rehost the venue database, equipment data, or article archive at scale.
• Train commercial AI models on our content without permission. See our llms.txt for the AI access policy.

Third-party trademarks (venue names, equipment brands) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification.

8. Acceptable Use

When using RacketRise you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit spam, phishing, malware, or content intended to deceive or harm other users.
• Attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security or rate-limiting controls, or interfere with how other people use it.
• Use automated tools to harvest data or trigger forms beyond the rate limits we publish in our public API and on our endpoints.
• Misrepresent yourself, a venue, or another person in submissions.

We may block IP addresses, regions, or specific accounts that breach these rules.

9. Limitation of Liability

RacketRise is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions, and representations relating to the site and its content, whether express or implied.

We will not be liable to you for:

• Loss of profit, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings.
• Any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
• The acts, omissions, prices, or availability of any third-party venue, booking platform, retailer, or accommodation provider linked from the site.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when we add features or when the regulatory landscape changes. The current version always lives at this URL with a "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after we publish a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
