Video walkthrough
Coming soon
The on-court video for this drill is in production. The full step-by-step is below — and our in-depth guide goes deeper still.
Padel wall play: using the glass→A ball that touches two walls before you play it — usually side glass, then back glass (the doble pared). It beats players who freeze, and it feeds players who move early and wait for the second rebound.
Any deep, angled ball you can’t take cleanly before the walls. Let it pass, track it through both rebounds, and play your reply from behind the second one — usually cross-court, which gives you the biggest target and the most time.
If the ball is short or slow enough to take before the glass, take it early instead. Waiting for walls you don’t need hands the net pair a free second to set up.
This is the Week 2 drill from the RacketRise Padel Improver Plan. Go deeper with padel wall play: using the glass, or see all drill guides.
